Our Mission
The mission of the Chicago Health Executives Forum (CHEF) is based around providing educational, networking and professional advancement opportunities for its members. This goal is accomplished through periodic events and development programs based on cutting edge topics of interest to Chicago area healthcare professionals and executives.
Our History
CHEF was established in 1976 as a not-for-profit organization to serve the needs of Chicago's healthcare community by providing networking opportunities and avenues for continuing education and leadership development.
CHEF's membership consists of healthcare professionals from all aspects of the industry throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. CHEF Annual Membership exceeds 1,600 executives from our local community. These professionals represent hospitals and health systems, consulting firms, health care associations, managed care companies, pharmaceutical companies, and other organizations that provide and support the delivery of healthcare services in the Chicago metropolitan area.
CHEF is an independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Many CHEF programs are eligible for either Category I or II education credits.
