| Description: |
As a CHEF/ACHE member, you are invited to recognize your professional colleagues for noteworthy achievements and initiatives in advancing the quality of helthcare services, demonstratioin of personal and organizational leadership, and commitment to service innovation. The award categories include:
- Healthcare Leadership
This award highlights a Chicago-area healthcare executive in one or more of the following areas: development and adoption of best practices in healthcare management, successful stewardship of capital projects or significant organizational initiatives, operations performance improvement, healthcare public policy initiatives, professional mentoring, or community leadership or volunteerism.
- Innovations & Service Excellence
This award seeks to highlight successful models or examples of clinical innovations that improve clinical outcomes, foster service excellence in patient care delivery, improve access/organization of healtchare services in the community, or acheive measurable results in quality manangement initiatives. This award can be given to an individual, group/team, or institution.
- Career Achievement
This award focuses on mid-career or senior healthcare professionals who have demonstrated an active commitment to advancing the healthcare management profession, and who have served as role models in their organization and community. This individual would also be a Diplomate or Fellow of the ACHE.
- Health Studies Student Leadership
Awarded to graduate students for noteworthy personal achievements in project formulation and analysis, academic coursework, professional paper publication, or organizational leadership. Professional leadership activities could include active involvement with ACHE or other healthcare professional organizations.
